AEDP seeks to clinically make neuroplasticity happen. Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to change.Championing our innate healing capacities, AEDP has roots in and resonances with many disciplines — among them interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, emotion theory and affective neuroscience, body-focused approaches, and last but not least, transformational studies.
AEDP seeks to achieve the undoing of aloneness, and involves an in-depth processing of difficult emotional and relational experiences. I work with AEDP to foster the emergence of new and healing experiences for my patients, tapping into existing resources, utilizing a solid therapeutic relationship, and capitalizing on resilience. Treatment leads to a renewed zest for life!
