For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to helping others make sense of their pain and reclaim their power. My journey as a psychotherapist began after graduating from Clemson University in 2001 with a degree in Psychology. I started my career at a women’s center in Atlanta, where I witnessed firsthand the resilience of women navigating trauma, self-doubt, and emotional wounds. I then spent years advocating for children in foster care before earning my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Argosy University in 2006 and opening my first private practice.

In 2011, I completed my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology with a passion for not only working directly with clients but also teaching and mentoring others in the field. Along the way, I’ve worked in crisis response, inpatient hospital settings, community mental health, and with military families—each experience shaping my deep commitment to helping women heal.

Today, I specialize in working with women who feel like something is “off” but don’t quite have the words to explain it. Women who have survived childhood emotional neglect, toxic relationships, caregiver burnout, or the emotional toll of chronic illness. My approach is not “one-size-fits-all”—instead, I integrate advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) to help my clients reconnect with their core selves and build lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.

I believe healing is a deeply personal, transformative process. My clients are not just patients—they are my greatest teachers, reminding me daily of the power of resilience and growth.
